House Rules

Please note: Our hotels operate under German law. These rules apply to your stay at any Nova Hotels Group property in Germany.

1. Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you. These house rules govern your stay at our hotels and form part of your booking contract. Please observe them in the interest of all guests.

2. Arrival and Departure

• Check-in: from 3:00 PM
• Check-out: by 11:00 AM
• Late check-out is possible only with prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge.
• In case of no-show, the full booked amount remains due.

3. Non-Smoking Hotel

Our hotels are completely non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobby, restaurants and wellness areas.

This prohibition explicitly applies to e-cigarettes, vapes, hookahs and similar products.

For violations, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of €250.00. In case of repeated or severe violations, we may terminate your stay without notice.

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please use the provided ashtrays.

4. Quiet Hours

Out of consideration for other guests, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, please avoid loud music, hallway conversations and other noises that could disturb others.

5. Visitors and Unregistered Overnight Guests

For security reasons and due to German registration law (§ 29 ff. Federal Registration Act, Bundesmeldegesetz):

• Visitors may only enter guest rooms after being announced at reception.
• Overnight guests not included in the original booking must be registered in advance.
• Bringing additional unregistered persons to the room is not permitted.

6. Damage and Liability

• Guests are liable for damages caused intentionally or negligently — in full.
• Damages must be reported to reception immediately.
• We accept no liability for personal valuables left in the room. Please use the in-room or reception safe.

7. Digital Door Code

• The door code sent to you via WhatsApp, SMS or email is personal and must not be shared with third parties.
• In case of loss or unauthorized sharing, please contact reception immediately — we will generate a new code.
• The code is active only during your stay period and is automatically deactivated upon departure.

8. Pets

Pets are welcome only with prior arrangement and against a fee. The following rules apply:

• Pets may not be left unattended in the room.
• Pets must be kept on a leash in public areas.
• Pets are not allowed on beds, sofas or furniture.
• Guests are fully liable for any damage caused by pets.

9. Prohibited Items and Behavior

• Bringing weapons, dangerous substances or illegal drugs is forbidden.
• Cooking or grilling in the room is not permitted.
• Harassment or discrimination against other guests or staff will not be tolerated.
• Hotel property (bathrobes, towels, dishes, etc.) must not be removed from the hotel.

10. Fire Safety and Emergencies

• In case of fire alarm, leave the building immediately via the nearest emergency exit. Do not use the elevator.
• Escape route plans are posted in each room.
• Defective or triggered smoke detectors must be reported to reception immediately.
• Tampering with smoke detectors or fire safety equipment is a criminal offense and results in immediate termination of the contract.

11. Housekeeping and Room Service

• Daily housekeeping is provided. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign.
• For longer stays, bed linens are changed every 3 days.

12. Violations and Termination

In case of repeated or severe violations of these house rules, we reserve the right to:

• terminate your stay without notice,
• issue a ban from our premises,
• involve the police if necessary,
• claim damages.

In such cases, there is no right to a refund of the accommodation price.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, the location of the respective hotel.
